oh happy day!!!!

We're happy to announce that our baby girl Pien was born on this rainy day! She is so sweet and beautiful :D. A new life has begun, full of joy and lots of love. We can stare at her for the entire day and night, just discovering and getting to know her lovely person. It's almost surreal to realize that she was in my belly for the entire nine months. Love, Love, Love!!

With a new family member on the way we decided it was time to search for a bigger car :) At my dad's garage we found this pretty old school Volvo. We fell in love and said yes! Welcome green machine ★

Eventhough my due date was last monday we're still waiting for our little girl. I take my time and enjoy the summer in our garden. I finished the blanket and I'm very happy the way it turned out! I like the happy and sweet colours of the wool. Now all we need is our girl to come out :)

last week's incoming mail

Last week I received some lovely mail from my two Dutch pen pals Rinske and Anne. Rinske even sent me a very sweet gift for the baby! I love the gift, it's a tin filled with cards for the maternity visit to write on. They can leave a message for our little baby :) Sweet memories to keep. Thank you girls for the nice letters!!
