The best of starting back to work and getting busy with it, is the amount of joy you get when you're having a day off :) haha. This morning I collected a bunch of stationary stuff from my desk and I spread everything out in the living room. Beneath the Christmas tree I wrote a few letters and wrapped small gifts. Now I hope they will arrive safely at your houses dear Rinske, Dasha and Corey.

Wow! I've had a very happy mailbox this weekend :)! Really beautiful envelopes and packages filled with lovely cards and little presents (there's one for Pien as well!).. you guys are really sweet! All the gifts are now waiting under the Christmas tree! Thank you Rinske, Anne, Hannah and Elina ♡

How lovely to receive a first birthday present by post! Sweet Corey sent me this beautiful package, nicely wrapped :). Wouldn't this make you happy as well?! I should have kept it until the 18th but I was too curious. So sweet, an M for Mickey and Maarten and a P for little Pien! Thank you!

I was sifting through old magazines, looking for some nice papers to make new envelopes.. Flow Magazine is really good for cutting, it's filled with beautiful colors, papers and photos :). Now my stash of stationary is complete again! These letters are on their way to Anne and Rinske.

Wow.. now that our darling baby girl is asleep I took the change to sit down and make a mess of my desk :). I enjoy making these envelopes and answering two letters; one to Anne and one to Rinske. It feels good to finish something I've started! They are coming your way, oh yes!

oh these beautiful Autumn days

We just can't get enough of the magical forests in this time of year. The colors are so vibrant and the moss and plants tell stories when the sun slides down through the leaves and trees. On these occasional sunny days we immediately go outside to enjoy the seasonal changes around us.  Despite I forgot my camera I took these pictures with my phone.. I really love Instagram for enabling me to shoot these beauties ;).

magical forest

Finally we were able to go for a walk in the forest. In this time of year the woods are so incredibly beautiful. All the Autumn colors, the moss, the mushrooms and the leaves. Also this is one of our favorite places for a walk, the Mastbos in Breda. In 1505 the forest was 'built' by a Dutch count and they named the forest Mast because they created lots of ship masts of the pines they'd planted there. Now it's a wide variety of beech trees, oaks and pines. A really beautiful place for a good Autumn walk :)

Again, I received a lot of mail last week :) Reading and writing letters on rainy Autumn days is such a well spent time! Dear Corey made sweet little Autumn drawings and even one of me & Maarten :) So sweet!!! Thank you! Other incoming messages are from my mom (Turkey), Anne (Breda) and Rinske (Doesburg). I was able to answer Anni and Anne, hope to catch up this upcoming week!
