Finally.. a beautifull night at the Parade! After long rainy days we are drinking sangria, making poffertjes (pancakes), see some theatre shows and enjoy the giant's stride. Oh yes!

A visit to my parents before we leave to Portugal for one month. My mother made this fantastic chocolate cake with cookies and tofu. There's a first time for everything. It tasted very good!

Outside of one of my favourite cinema's, Cinerama, there is this great mozaique in green and blue hues. It reminded me of a snake's skin.

After a long day we had dinner with a glass of wine, talked about our day and we watched the night entering our kitchen. What a great night!

We visited this great performance at the docks of Rotterdam. In an old submarine hangar the Scandanavian art duo Elmgreen & Dragset created a surreal city-life. What a crazy surrounding! It's almost like you are lost within a movie scene.

Mister Dim

Hello Mister Dim! I've met Dim in Dordrecht where he sat outside of his house. Dim is a bit big.. his owner told me that when he was little he had some problems with his health and over the years he became fat due to the medicines they gave him. Now he is so big he can't fit through his own cat flap anymore. His owner has to stay at home and keep the door open so Dim can go in and outside. Now that's love ♥

Yes! A new message from Janneke. Not from Amsterdam but from Africa. Together with her sister Hillie, who is a photographer, she visited her family. They are working on a project about image and prejudices in Africa and Europe.
