cleaning out the closet

 

While I was cleaning out my closet I found a folder filled with old photo's and test strips which I totally had forgotten about. The pictures are a few years old, sweet memories.

Sweet Anne wrote me a letter, I like that our correspondence is very active :) She has this cool heart shaped wax stamp to seal the letters ♥

Dutch orange

I got these lovely orange Tulips yesterday from Karen when she came over for dinner. The colours are beautifully bright and so sunny. They bring some early spring on my table ♥

new stamps

Every once in a while new beautiful stamps come out and these two sheets are one (actually two :)) of them. I love the colours of both sheets but I'm very fond of the Rijksmuseum stamps. I like the art works and the crooked seams. Can't wait to send them out!

An afternoon at the Rotterdam Zoo in the o so icy cold! It's freezing outside but most of the animals were actually quite active today. I loved to watch this sweet little red panda climb his tree very carefully ♥

hello new world

I'm so happy to finally share our wonderful news with you all. In about 5 months our first little Mr or Mrs will be here with us! Everything is so exciting and we are so incredibly happy and proud.

Some letters just get lost in the mail and I really wonder where they go. They must pop up somewhere, somehow.. And what will happen to them when they're found? Anyway, Rinske sent me this sweet message twice :) Thank you! A new one is on its way to you.

digitizing

These last few snowy and cold days I spent my time digitizing my diaries. It's fun to read and lovely to refresh all the saved memories. Finding all these drawings made me realize I should draw more , it's nice to see these treasured moments of time in ink.
