A new message in the mail all the way from Singapore sent by Corey! She illustrated the boat postcard herself ♥ I love the letter, the card and the little boat!

Graduation

This afternoon we celebrated my official graduation from University! Happy! For lunch/dinner Sweet San cooked a lovely vegetable soup and she'd made these rolls with green peas and mint, beet humus with garlic and dill-salmon rolls ♥

hello Rotterdam

The city wakes in the fog, people go to work, people spend their money, people drink their coffee, people who are looking for something. In the back, the new building 'De Rotterdam' looms on the horizon. It will be the largest building in the Netherlands. The architect Rem Koolhaas describes it as: A vertical city.

Our garden is not only covered in colourful leaves. These berries are everywhere and birds eat them all, a delicious winter meal.

Receiving a postcard in the mail is wonderful and when you turn it around and discover this magnificent handwriting is even more special. I imagine Scott living on a wooden farm in the middle of American mountains, with a view from his kitchen on a valley covered with Indian Summer trees. The bees and chickens outside and a basket for eggs next to the door. Yes, that would be great.
